Scope's long term partnership with Clarkston-based Westpoint Homes is continuing on a number of superb new developments.

Projects in Colinton, Corstorphine, Paisley and Bearsden are currently in the pipeline with Scope heavily involved in developing bathroom specs.

The Northern Lights of old Aberdeen

Scope has been developing its business influence in the buoyant Aberdeen market and has developed new supply partnerships in the city.

'Our long term partnership with CALA Homes has led to us securing supply rights to the new CALA North division, based in Westhill' said Derek Miller, Scope Director, 'and are also working with Bancon Homes of Banchory on a number of sites'.

Scope will also supply the luxury new development at Blairs Castle for Muir Homes which will have a very high profile in the city.

Scope Heads East

Scope has been very busy supplying bathrooms to various sites in the beautiful East Neuk of Fife. Having secured the supply contract for the Muir Homes Castlefleurie site at Leven, Scope is also supplying the beautiful Hotel du Vin, which overlooks the famous Old Course in St.Andrews.

To round off this invasion of the East Coast, Scope has won the supply contract for the outstanding Abbey View Townhouse development, also in St.Andrews, by Robertson Homes.

Scope claims The Honours

Scope was recently chosen to supply new washrooms to The Honours Brasserie in Edinburgh, which is owned by renowned Scottish Chef, Martin Wishart.

A contemporary range of products from Duravit was selected by the Michelin star winning patron to complement the stylish restaurant interior.

Michelin Star Experience

Scope has supplied new ensuites to the renowned Peat Inn, near St.Andrews, run by Michelin star chef Geoffrey Smeddle and his wife Katherine.

"We are proud to be associated with one of Scotland's best restaurants" said Derek Miller. Scope Director. The chosen spec came from Villeroy & Boch and Hansgrohe.

Scope has also supplied bathroom facilities in the past to other Michelin star establishments such as the Kinloch Lodge, Skye; and The Kitchin, Leith.

Showroom Sharp

Work has started on the Scope showroom in Hillington, Glasgow to improve the appearance of the building as well as the shopping environment for customers.

Within the showroom, new bays have been created for Villeroy and Boch and for a new range by internationally recognised designer Ben de Lisi. Scope Director, Neil McKinlay said 'we are pleased to be making this investment in our business and hope that it enhances the overall quality of our showroom environment'.

Over the next few months, a new Laufen studio will be created within the existing space and the beautiful new traditional Arcade range will make its appearance also.

Scope Supports Architectural Awards

For the 4th year running, Scope in partnership with Laufen has been a sponsor at the annual awards dinner of the Royal Institute of Architects in Scotland (RIAS).

Director Derek Miller was on hand at the event (held at the Hilton Hotel, Glasgow), to present RIAS Awards to Morgan McDonnell Architects for their work at Advocates Close, Edinburgh and to BDP for Buchanan Gardens in Glasgow City Centre.

Scope opens dedicated Crosswater studio

Scope recently endorsed its long term partnership with Crosswater Holdings, (owners of Crosswater, Simpsons, and Bauhaus brands), by opening a dedicated Crosswater studio within the Scope showroom at Hillington, Glasgow. Crosswater supplies Scope for both retail and contract projects and prospective clients now have the opportunity to see the amazing designs available across the 3 brands. Scope recently supplied Crosswater Group products to the Atlas residential project in Buchanan Street, Glasgow, and to the Radisson Blu Hotel at Manchester Airport.

ISH Frankfurt

'SaphirKeramik' Launched.

Its not every day that a new material is invented specifically for the bathroom industry. However, Scope’s number 1 sanitary ware brand, Laufen of Switzerland, has recently launched the innovative ‘SaphirKeramik’ material, from which it will create beautiful new slimline basins of the highest design quality and rigidity. This state-of-the-art raw material can fashion basins with an edge radii of just 1-2mm, allowing the most delicate of finishes. Rigidity is provided by the addition of Alumnium Oxide to the base clay before firing in the kiln. SaphirKeramik has been 5 years in development and has been patented by Laufen. Scope will have the first SaphirKeramik products available from September 2013.

The Dawning of a New Era

Scope is delighted to be confirmed as bathroom supplier to Dawn Homes for their prestigious new development at Villafield in Bishopbriggs.

Dawn Homes is a very well-known house builder in Central Scotland, and they are focussing on the development of their bathroom offer to customers. Scope has been working close with the Dawn management team to develop a high quality specification, suitable for this exciting project.

Scope Partners Westpoint at Bearsden

Scope is delighted to be appointed bathroom supplier to Westpoint Homes, continuing a partnership that has been established for almost a decade.

This latest development on the site of the former Scotus Seminary College at Bearsden, is a beautiful project encompassing apartments, luxury detached, split villas, and 3-storey townhouses, set amidst beautiful gardens in one of East Dunbartonshire’s best postcode areas.

Grand Vacation at Craigendarroch

Scope has won the contract to supply bathrooms to the famous Craigendarroch resort for Hilton Grand Vacations in Ballater, Aberdeenshire.

"We are working closely with international brands such as V&B, Hansgrohe, and Kermi to meet the needs of the client, on a spec developed by Interior Design Consultants, Cunningham Mclean Partnership" says Derek Miller, Scope Director. This is our second project for Hilton and we are thrilled to add this prestigious Resort to our portfolio. The original Craigendarroch Hotel is being converted to luxury timeshare serviced apartments and Scope is supplying the ensuite facilities.

Scope Avoids the Blues with Radisson

Scope is to supply 120 ensuite facilities to the busy Radisson Blu Hotel at Manchester Airport.

"This is a great project for Scope" says Scope Director, Derek Miller, "We have worked very closely with Design Consultants Graven Images,  Thomas Johnstone Ltd, the Main Contractors, and London-based Consero Management Consultants, to develop a high-quality, contemporary ensuite specification for this hugely busy Airport Hotel."

Scope has a Great Advocate

Scope has been confirmed as bathroom supplier to the incredible Advocates Close development in the depths of Edinburgh’s historic old town.

"This is the next phase of the master plan for the triangle bound by Market Street, Cockburn Street, and The Royal Mile" says Derek Miller, Scope Director.  "We recently completed supply of over 200 ensuites to the next Motel One hotel near Waverley, and Advocates Close sits being the Motel One site, going back up towards the Royal Mile".

Advocates Close is a development of 29 luxury serviced apartments for client, the Chris Stewart Group.

Scope has made its mark in Central Edinburgh over the past few years, having also supplied all rooms at the famous Balmoral Hotel on Princes Street.

Scope supplies to Michelin Starred Hotel

Scope has started the supply to new luxury ensuites to the famous Kinloch Lodge Hotel on Skye.

The Kinloch, which boasts a Michelin Star restaurant, is owned by Lord and Lady McDonald of McDonald (Lord of the Isles), and also hosts the internationally famous Claire McDonald Cook School.

"As a foodie, I was naturally thrilled for Scope to be confirmed as supplier to the Kinloch" said Scope Director, Derek Miller.

Scope worked closely with Skye-born Interior Designer Catherine Wilson and Isabella McDonald to create a spec worthy of this wonderful establishment.
