Delivery/uplift of orders

Goods delivered by Scope must be examined fully by the customer either at delivery or as soon as possible after delivery. This also applies to goods uplifted by the customer at the showroom.

The customer has three days from delivery or uplift to notify Scope Bathroom Interiors of any defects on goods or goods wrongly delivered/uplifted. Should the customer be installing or fitting the goods within this 3 day period, goods must be examined and faults reported prior to installation.

If the customer reports a problem after the 3 day period has elapsed and requests a home visit, Scope may arrange to have a manufacturer’s representative visit site. If the manufacturer deems that the fault has been caused by installation and not by manufacturing, they may invoke a call-out charge in line with their policy, which is payable by the customer.

Order Changes/cancellations/returns

Once orders have been placed, any subsequent changes will be subject to a 25% handling charge.

Non-stock and special order items are non-cancellable and non-returnable 

Return of non-faulty goods will only be accepted at the discretion of the management. If the return of such goods is accepted by Scope, a handling charge of 25% will be levied.

Defective Goods

Should any goods supplied by Scope Bathroom Interiors prove defective, Scope’s liability shall, under no circumstances, exceed the price of the defective item.

Use of abrasive cleaners will invalidate the guarantee of chrome, gold or stainless steel goods.

Tiles
Ceramic and porcelain tiles supplied by Scope Bathroom Interiors must be examined prior to fixing and any report on shading variation conveyed to Scope before fixing commences.

Scope will accept the return of one complete box of unwanted tiles per order within 30 days of date of supply to customer. A refund will be offered less a 25% re-stocking charge, as per our supplier’s terms

No refunds will be made on incomplete boxes, borders, mosaics or decors.

Delivery of Goods to Customers (Monday to Friday)

Delivery of goods by Scope Bathroom Interiors to customers address will be charged according to order value and distance.
When booking a delivery with Scope, we can offer a specific delivery day and date, subject to availability. This will be limited to a morning or afternoon delivery, and not a specific time.

Order value up to £200 or
Orders of accessories/
Mirrors/taps/cabinets only – customer must uplift

Order value over £200
Within 15 miles of Scope – £20
15-50 miles of Scope – £30
50 miles + from Scope – price on application

Saturday deliveries
(Am only, within 15 miles) – £30

Should the customer request a multiple drop delivery from their order, each delivery will be charged separately. Should the customer fall within the free of charge category, the first drop only will be free of charge. Charges will be made on subsequent drops.

All Ferry and road toll charges are payable by the customer.

We will endeavour to provide accurate delivery dates of goods, but have no control over the delivery schedules of our suppliers. Specified dates are judgements based on the normal pattern and are not guaranteed. Scope cannot be held liable for delivery delays for reasons outwith our control, and strongly advise customers to have the goods in their possession and checked accordingly, before arranging tradesmen for fitting.

The customer must accept delivery of good within 6 weeks of ordering, providing the goods are available from Scope. Any requests to extend this period can only be granted by Scope management.

Goods remain the property of Scope Bathroom Interiors until full payment is received.

Our liabilities for goods end at delivery.
Customers should provide assistance to drivers if requested, should goods be heavy or the delivery address have problem access.

Payment
25% of order value as a deposit at time of ordering
75% (balance) of order prior to delivery or customer uplift

(Payment may be made by card, cash or BACS)

If final payment is by cheque, all cheques must be received 1 week prior to despatch of goods, to allow the payment to be processed.

Goods will only be despatched when full payment is received, unless otherwise agreed by management.

The 25% deposit payment is non-refundable in the event
